NEW WINDSONG WELCOMES YOU

NEW WINDSONG AT A GLANCE

New Windsong was founded on the vision and belief that women who have survived domestic violence deserve the right to safety and growth, to be empowered and return freely with the ability to reintegrate into the community with hopes that a new beginning, or a New Windsong, is realized. We recognized that by working closely together we could assist with overcoming their challenges (homelessness, job opportunities, mental illness, etc.) much more efficiently, hence our purpose at New Windsong. To help!

WAYS WE HELP

Meaningful Work: Our initiatives assist our "survivors" in re-assimilating, navigating homelessness and mental illness, life skills, education and  a transition to financial stability. We will also assist with emergency and transitional housing , emotional support and a diversified continuum of services focused on empowerment and self sufficiency. Through community partnerships we intend on raising awareness, providing services and educating community members so they're more informed and receptive of our survivors.

Reinforcing our Commitment

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. We understand this is a limitless process that requires ongoing openness, diligence and work. We believe that any form of oppression enables regression and therefore efforts to re-assimilate our survivors must include an anti-oppressive agenda. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.
